18 years ago, as a young boy who had the passion for music, I joined a new church. Boy, was I frustrated……

The music was bad, sound was totally out of the bar. I could see the keyboard lying there. No one to play. No one to properly tune the mixer board. No one to direct the choir. What a total chaos in the music department.

But then, I knew within me I could be the person this new church was waiting for. How would I rise to help this music department? I asked myself. I had no knowledge in how to play the keyboard. No knowledge in sound mixing. All I had was my passion for music. And the desire to be useful in the church.

So, I taught myself! I watched every Piano Course Video I could find, searched Google constantly and did everything I could to find every resource available to me. And I learned to play piano! I figured out the easiest and most practical way to learn piano. But not only that! I had fun the entire time.

How did I practice?

With no personal Keyboard. I virtually had to use the church's keyboard or that of a friend. This means waiting longer hours after church and walking long distance to my friend's place to practice. Till I got my personal basic keyboard.

If I allowed my age, lack of money or experience to stop me, I wouldn't play piano today…and I wouldn't have been useful and a blessing to this New church.
